CleanFi's Market Maker
CleanFi Market Makers are trusted allies who provide CleanFi with top-level introductions to funders and affiliate prospects that are eventually onboarded into the CleanFi network.A Market Maker can be an individual or an organization, but must be tied to a CleanFi account.
Our program currently rewards a Market Maker with these distributions:
- for a CleanFi Affiliate onboarded within 6-months of their introduction, 5% of CleanFi fees for first 24 months of funded projects from the official launch date of that affiliate.
- for a funder onboarded within 6-months of their introduction, 2.5% of CleanFi fees for first 24 months of funded projects from the official launch date of that affiliate, up to a cumulative amount of $25,000a share of the CleanFi pre-underwriting fees for any funded project originated on any CleanFi portal.
- User can be referred via referral link.
In each of the above reward categories, CleanFi’s distribution of funds shall occur upon receipt by CleanFi of the pre-underwriting fee for the related funded project.
A CleanFi Market Maker is qualified if they:
- Have an active account with CleanFi with current contact information
- Have a fully executed Market Maker agreement with CleanFi, and will provide at the time of a reward event all the information necessary for CleanFi to make a legal transfer of funds.
- Do not compete during any part of the reward eligibility period against CleanFi by providing direct or indirect project financing services
- Do not act in a similar role as that of a Market Maker, formally or informally, for any other commercial project financier or commercial financing platform, including that of PACE program manager or administrator.
A current CleanFi Network Affiliate can also be a Market Maker, subject to the above term.
A CleanFi registered user can also be a Market Maker, subject to the above terms.
A Market Maker’s violation of the terms of the engagement invalidates CleanFi’s reward commitment.
How the CleanFi/Market Maker introduction process functions:
CleanFi has on-going documented conversations with numerous organizations. A Market Maker should contact CleanFi before they intend to make an introduction to a prospective Affiliate or funder. Two scenarios can emerge:
If CleanFi already has precedent contact, we will provide the name of the party with whom we are engaged, and work with the Market Maker to determine the circumstances under which the Market Maker’s involvement will make a difference in the evolution of that relationship, should it be deemed desirable to CleanFi.
If CleanFi does not have precedent contact and wants the relationship, the Market Maker will make the introduction and facilitate communications and onboarding until that process in completed. At that point, the Market Maker’s participation will begin.
